Collectable botanical pressings for the curious

Inspired by Victorian herbaria, my collectable pressed plant art is designed for everyone curious about British natural history.

Each pressed flower artwork is unique and a one-off, thoughtfully made to share my love of Britain's wild flora.

Making a collection of pressed plants - a herbarium - is a traditional artisan practice still used today to learn botany.

Authentic & natural wild style

My style is natural, subtle, and graceful: the designs combine plant species that actually grow together in wild vegetation communities in nature. The approach is to capture authentic natural beauty in gentle tones - rather than just mixing bright garden flowers up with wild blooms.

Each pressed flower is set onto thick handmade paper and beautifully presented with the correct identification, and labelled by free-hand calligraphy (modern or Copperplate) using a vintage 1920s dip pen and vegan walnut ink.

Every pressed plant artwork also comes with an illustrated A5 card sharing stories about the plant, its herbal and other uses, plantlore and customs, and identification tips that you will not find in any field guide or book.

These cards can be bound together with the pressed plant artworks for you, into a traditional herbarium folio, encased in vintage floral fabric. Alternatively, I can source vintage, handmade raw oak, or copper frames for any piece.
